Has a Unique Approach
With 24 years of construction and real estate experience, Dan’s construction career began as a framing carpenter while completing studies at Texas A&M. He continued as a framing contractor, building custom homes for seven years. Then, Dan started buying and personally renovating old houses in central Austin. It is this “hands-on” approach that sets Dan Day Homes apart from the rest. He continues to apply his knowledge of home building and construction fundamentals in his day-to-day operations.

Is Industry-Recognized
Well-respected by the real estate community, the Austin Board of Realtors recognized Dan’s pledge to high standards in 1994, when he was awarded a Community Revitalization Award for the “Outstanding Renovation” of two single-family houses in Central Austin. Dan is a member of the National Association of Home Builders, National Association of Realtors, Home Builders Association of Greater Austin, and Austin Board of Realtors.

Is Dedicated to Family and Community
Born in Sherman, Texas, Dan has made Austin his home since 1975. Dan, who serves as Director and President of several Homeowners’ Associations, also has a rewarding family life. Active in children’s school, scouting, and sports activities, the Day family is also involved in church and other social organizations.
